“ First time here and I loved it! Located across the street from The Hilton hotel. Lunch buffet was $19.99 and well worth it! They served lots of items but most important my butter chicken, and it was delicious! The garlic naan is served to you at your table so it's fresh and warm. Servers were very attentive and kept refilling the food in the trays every time it got low. Clean restaurant with its own parking lot. If I'm in the area again I for sure would come back here. ”

“ Been here a few times now. It's without question best Indian food in Santa Cruz. Let's go on with the review. Upon walking in I've always been greeted immediately. Their seating is clean and well placed. Staff is extremely helpful and attentive. I've had many things off the menu here. But I'll write the memorable ones. Chicken tiki masala. Medium spice. Marinated well tiki masala sauce perfectly made. Not to rich and no to acidic with tomato flavor. Just right. Chicken curry. Medium spice. Chicks. Is marinated well. Perfect pieces of white meat. Curry sauce tasting exactly how it should. White rice. Cooked perfectly not hard or to soft. Naan bread. Had a few different kinds. Can't go wrong with their naan. Mango chutney. SOOOOO good I had to buy more just to take home. Staff: excellent Food: above average. Cleanliness: very clean. Decor: basic but new enough. Bathrooms. Clean, no issues. So would I recommend this place? Most definitely. From the moment you walk in to the moment you walk out. Your Indian food cravings will be met. Enjoy! ”

“ Love, love, love Ambrosia. Food and service are great. This place never disappoints. My husband always gets the chicken tikka kabob, and I get one of their various vegetarian dishes. Their samosas are delicious as well, as are all of their breads (I think we've tried most of them at this point). If you're in the area and love Indian food, check this place out; you won't regret it. ”

“ Came for the lunch buffet and it was absolutely delicious. We were seated quickly and they said today's lunch special included a beverage so I got a cup of chai tea and my friend got a soda. We got some garlic naan and then loaded up at the buffet. There was some cut vegetable and fruit for a little salad bar-esque area with sauces, and then several different entrees to choose from including veggie options, lamb, and chicken (3 types I think) with some in a curry and some not. They had little mango panna cotta cups for dessert that were absolutely heavenly. It was ~$24/person for the buffet and I'm not sure if they charged extra for the naan as my friend covered the bill so I didn't see it itemized. But great opportunity to have a sampling of many different types of dishes. I would absolutely go back. ”

“ We ordered Ambrosia Indian thru Door Dash. The food was ready for the dasher when he arrived, on time. The driver got it to us quickly which was also nice, but unrelated. Now to the important part, the food. The buttered Naan was really nicely toasted and had a flavor that was amazing. The Aloo Gobi was different than others I've tried in the past, but that made it uniquely theirs. The mix of veggies was perfect and the flavor was on point. Really, really good. The butter chicken had a very nice kick to it. (Ordered Medium spice). Excellent flavor and again, slightly different, but amazing. The coconut lamb curry is also amazing, and very tender. We started off our meal with the Vegetable Biryani, also medium spice. It was extremely moist and had more vegetables than our typical spot, which is a huge plus for "vegetable" rice. Overall 10/10. Would totally hit this spot up again if we come back to town. And yes, for those who happen to notice, we did in fact, order DoorDash while we are camping. It rained, I was sad and needed a pick me up for our 24th Anniversary trip. ”

“ We ordered takeout online. Food was amazing! (And we eat Indian food often). Ordered the half tandoori chicken, chicken tikka masala, rice and two mango lassis. Both chicken dishes were cooked perfectly, moist, tender with amazing flavor. The portions were really generous. Two of us couldn't finish everything and we tried! The mango lassis were the perfect level of sweet and smooth, AND cold which isn't easy. The restaurant was clean and the service was quick, staff was polite and professional. I asked for paper plates and plasticware bc we were staying at a hotel and they were very accommodating. Would definitely eat here again! Photos don't do the amazing food justice. ”

“ We are so grateful that we have this wonderful Indian restaurant in our small town. The interior is very nicely decorated and has a nice intimate setting. There's a good area for a small party. Every dish we had so far was yummy. But our main dishes we like to enjoy over and over again is the samosa, the lamb, and the mango lassi. We have not tried their lunch buffet yet but look forward to it one day. ”

“ Just as great as the Aptos location! Was in the area and decided to try this particular location; the food and service were just as good as the Aptos location. A little birdie also told me there will be one coming to Los Gatos as well, so I'm super excited about that. Not much to say other than this place is SOOOO good, but I'm not shocked. If you don't like Indian food, this place will make you change your mind. Anything and everything is good! No hard liquor but they do offer wine and beer. Parking is easy; they have their own stand-alone lot. Some of the dishes you must try are: Chicken Tikka Masala, Butter Chicken, Tandoori Mixed Grill, Chana Masala and Raita (yogurt sauce). Of course, the usual naan and saffron rice to use as a vehicle.... We ordered all this for two and had plenty for dinner the next night. This place is definitely better for a larger party (family style) but can always take leftovers to go like we did. Didn't get our server's name but he was very friendly and attentive. ”
